Svetlahorsk

Svetlahorsk (Svetlogorsk in Russian translation) is a city in Homyel voblast, Belarus. It is located by river Berezina.

Industry: heat power plant, chemicals plant which produce man-made fiber, reinforced concrete industrial complex, some oil producing industry.

Sights: an orthodox church and a cathedral, which is currently under construction; a catholic cathedral, a quay, a museum of local lore.
