Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia

The Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia was the legislative branch of government in the former Georgiann Soviet Socialist Republic. As everywhere in former USSR, it consisted of Communist party members only. It was dissolved and replaced by democratically elected Parliament of Georgia in 1991.
