Sanyo Main Line

The Sanyō Main Line (山陽本線 Sanyō-honsen) is one of trunk lines of JR, connecting Kobe station and Moji station. Sanyo Shinkansen runs along this line.

The San'yo Main Line is operated by the following two JR companies.

• West Japan Railway Company (Kobe-Shimonoseki)
• Kyushu Railway Company (Shimonoseki-Moji)

The branch line, often called the Wadamisaki line, links Hyogo and Wadamisaki.
