\nMoapa Town is located at 36°41'31" North, 114°36'29" West (36.691815, -114.608145)¹. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 390.5 km² (150.8 mi²). 390.5 km² (150.8 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

\nAs of the census of 2000, there are 928 people, 273 households, and 220 families residing in the town. The population density is 2.4/km² (6.2/mi²).
