Meander

The word Meander has been applied to a number of items.

1. The Meander River, located in Turkey.
2. A bend in a river, also known as an oxbow loop.
3. To meander: For a river to behave like the river Meander. This is a term for the snaking movement a river may make is it is running through a flat plain with easily erosible soils.
4. To walk at a lazy pace and not usually in a straight line, like a meandering river.
