Kaiyuan
Kaiyuan (開元) is a region in Xiamen Municipality and a former district that now belongs to Siming District. It is in Fujian Province, the People's Republic of China.

History
After the establishment of the Republic of China, Kaiyuan was made a district in October 1945. From August 1966 to October 1979, Kaiyuan was named Dongfeng (東風).Administration
