World Parliament of Religions

The World Parliament of Religions is an interfaith conference that was first held in Chicago from September 11 to September 27, 1893. It was formed again 1993 as a centennial celebration. Now an ongoing conference, it calls itself the Parliament of the World's Religions, and in 2001, it was decided to hold a Parliament roughly every five years.
