Spoken articles (GFDL)

In response to your question about reciting a list of authors along with the recording--I don't know. Did you post this for a central discussion somewhere? Is there a project page for speaking articles? (Forgive me if these are obvious--today on IRC is the first I heard of the project). Thanks! Demi T/C 09:00, 2005 Apr 13 (UTC)

Hi, Fuzheado. I'll write under the same heading as Demi because I'm referring to the same thing. :-) I just wanted to tell you that I have listened to your recording of Pulitzer Prize and found it remarkly well done. Thank you!

In reply to your message about Evolution.ogg:

  • Yes, thanks--it's easily done, actually. Any day now, when my upload finishes, an amplified version should be in place. Demi T/C 08:45, 2005 Apr 19 (UTC)

Ren & Stimpy Syndrome

Hi! The article titled Ren & Stimpy Syndrome has been on the vfd since March 30, 2005. Could you please delete this article? Marcus2 21:38, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)

St. Louis School, Hong Kong

I am asking for opinion about an article on VfD.

This article is about a secondary school in Sheung Wan. Since you teach at a place relatively close there (I'm not sure if HKU is close to Sheung Wan, but anyway.) I think you may have better knowledge about this school than most people voting on this mtter. SYSS Mouse 02:38, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Spoken Wikipedia - missing copyleft notice

Hiya. Thanks loads again for recording Pulitzer Prize! However, as I'm sure you're aware, your recording is lacking a copyleft notice. I was wondering if I could persuade you to add it and upload the updated recording? I would be most grateful if you did. Thanks in advance! — Timwi 20:58, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I added a copyleft notice to it. --brian0918 16:02, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for your excellent contributions to Spoken Wikipedia. Please read more for us! Do you do any special modifications to the file to get rid of the noise, or does it just sound perfect on the first try? --brian0918 16:02, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Unless you've already started recording, you might want to consider changing your choice to something longer. Chances are that the Adam Clayton Powell article will become unfeatured. --brian0918 17:03, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

whoops

sorry, didn't mean to actually save those changes. Guess I need to read the help page brfore I experiment again.

His Holiness

Hi Fuz,

re your edit on Pope John Paul I. You may not know it but it is wikipedia policy to use styles like His Holiness on certain articles. All the papal articles use the HH style. You probably were unaware of this when you removed it but please do not remove it. It simply makes more work for wikipedia editors having to re-structure articles back to conform with the agreed manual of styles and naming conventions format. FearÉIREANN 12:01, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Ta Prohm

Hi, I'm working on the Ta Prohm article, and I'd like to add more informative captions to the pictures. Do you remember which part of the temple your picture is of? Mark1 01:58, 2 May 2005 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for reverting my user page. It is much appreciated. — Knowledge Seeker 02:54, 2 May 2005 (UTC)

Cat

I like to get the Cat page unprotected, what criteria are you waiting on for this to take place? Psychofox 01:22, May 7, 2005 (UTC)

Happy Corner

I translated the article in English. Wouldyou give a minute to proofread this? Maybe you can add more content to this article since you are teaching in HKU (Don't tell me oyu don't know what that is).SYSS Mouse 22:30, 10 May 2005 (UTC)

WP'ian journalists

Hi there! I've fixed the category of your user page, you had it as {{category:Wikipedian journalists}} where it should be [[Category:Wikipedian journalists]]. HTH! Radiant_* 10:37, May 17, 2005 (UTC)

American radio show about wikipedia

Hi

My name is Robin Amer and I’m a producer for an American public radio show called Open Source, which you can check out at www.radioopensource.org.

I’m writing you because this week we’re doing a show on Wikipedia including an interview with Jim Wales. We’re also looking for some particularly passionate and interesting Wikipedia users to talk to, especially users outside the US. I would love to talk to you about your involvement with the site. If you are interested, please give me a call at 617-497-8096, or email me at robinamer@riseup.net and send me your phone number.

Thanks so much.

Best, Robin Amer www.radioopensource.org

Hi there! I've been writing this article for some time, and now it turns out to be a pretty long entry from nearly nothing! Hope you can drop me some comment, and, if possible, make any improvement as you wish.

Thanks for your attention. Jerry Crimson Mann 21:43, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
