Wikisource and Wikibooks

Hey Dori. Last month, you wrote that original papers can be submitted to Wikisource or Wikibooks, but I see that Wikisource is concerned with transcribing works that already exist, and Wikibooks is concerned with writing textbooks for the classroom, unless I'm mistaken. Is there another Wiki project for original material. Decius 07:46, 24 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Thanks Dori, I'll try those options. Decius 06:50, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for the nice welcome! I'm thinking about creating an article on the "Walla Walla Massacre" based on a 1879 article in one of my books' appendix. I would basically summerize the article, perhaps listing it at the end under the heading of "sources". Thoughts? ~peace, Schwael 00:47, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice! Check out what i made: Walla Walla Massacre! ~peace, Schwael 04:01, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Napoleon Bonaparti

It would be both pleseant and good if you could translate this article from albanian to english. You can take all the time you need, of course it depends if your willing to translate the article for me so I can spread it to many english forums. Tung! --Albanau 20:10, 2 Feb 2005 (UTC)

PREJARDHJA ARBĖRESHE

Adolf Thieres ishte personalitet i shquar i kohės se tij, historian i dėgjuar francez i cili ka shkruar dhe historinė e revolucionit francez dhe qė mė vonė u bė President i Francės. Nė kujtimet e tij, Adolf Thieres shkruan: Kur Josef Bonaparti, vėllai i madh i Napoleon Bonapartit u bė mbret i Napolit mė 1806, shqiptarėve tė Napolit qė shkuan pėr t'i uruar mirėseardhjen u tha: Edhe familja Bonaparti ėshtė me origjinė arbėreshe.

ENCIKLOPEDIA GREKE

Sipas enciklopedisė sė madhe greke 'Piros' vėllimi i tretė, Athinė 1929, faqe 413-425, thuhet se: Shtrirja e shqiptarėve nė drejtim tė Peloponezit (Moresė) ėshtė zgjeruar nga shekulli XIV. Sipas kėsaj enciklopedie, nė Peloponez u krijuan krahina banimi tė reja si: Mani, Bardhunja, Lala, Filati, Hekali, Lopėsi. Edhe sot dihet qė njė lagje e Himarės ėshtė shpėrngulur nė krahinėn e Pelopenezit dhe krijuan Manin. Shqiptarėt qėndruan nė Peloponez (nė More) rreth grekėrve dhe mbiemri i Napoleonit (Kalė-mirė) ėshtė kuptuar shtrembėrisht nga grekėrit nė kallomeros (ana e mirė). Me zbritjen e vazhdueshme tė ushtrive tė panumėrta osmane nė Peloponez, njė pjesė e shqiptarėve u largua nėpėrmjet detit drejt Italisė sė Jugut e arritėn deri nė Korsikė. Stėrgjyshi i Napoleon Bonapartit, sipas shpjegimeve qė i jep ish-presidenti francez Adolf Thiers, ishte me origjinė nga njė fshat i tillė arbėresh i Korsikės. Edhe avokati i dėgjuar korsikan, mbrojtės i Gjergj Dimitrovit, nė gjyqin e Laipcigut, De Moro Xhaferi ka qenė nga njė katund arbėresh. Kjo faktohet nga vetė goja e tij kur iu pėrgjigj jurisė franceze: Unė do tė shkoj nė Laipcig dhe do tė mbroj Gjergj Dimitrovin. Nė qoftė se do tė mė vrasin, haka do tė mė merret si arbėresh qė jam nė origjinė. Dėshmia mė interesante vjen nga njė aristokrate franceze me origjinė maniote, dukesha D'Abrantes, lindur nė Montpelje me emrin Josephine Permon Stefanopuli de Comene.

A E NJIHTE NAPOLEON BONAPARTI HISTORINĖ E SHQIPĖRISĖ?

Nė hartat topografike ushtarake tė tij, trevat tokėsore qė shtriheshin qysh nga Sllovenia deri nė Detin Jon Napoleoni i kishte quajtur Iliri.

Ushtarėt francezė kanė zhvilluar luftime tė pėrgjakshme me ushtrine osmane, sidomos nė Tabor, gjatė pranverės sė vitit 1799. Gjithashtu, beteja tė pėrgjakshme janė zhvilluar edhe nė ujėrat e Egjiptit nė afėrsi tė Abukirit ku forcat detare franceze, tė komanduara nga admirali Brueys, u ndeshėn rreptazi edhe me forcat detare angleze tė komanduara nga admirali i dėgjuar Orcio Nelson. Nė tė gjitha kėto luftime detare u vra dhe admirali francez Brueys. Edhe nė luftimet tokėsore, francezėt pėsuan humbje tė mėdha nė ushtarė, sepse nuk ishin mėsuar me dherat afrikane. Atje u vra edhe gjenerali i dalluar Kleber. Forcat ushtarake frenceze, tė egėrsuara, me nė krye gjeneralin Andreossi, kėrkonin me kėmbėngulje tė arrinin fitoren, duke mos kursyer kėshtu edhe masakrat masive. Midis ushtarėve osmanllinj nė Egjipt ka patur edhe mjaft luftėtarė shqiptarė. Ata vazhdonin t“i mbronin me trimėri kėshtjellat qė iu ishin besuar. Komanda ushtarake franceze, me nė krye Andreossin, nė pamundėsi pėr t“i hedhur nė dorė kėshtjellat me forcėn e armėve, u premtoi tė rrethuarėve, luftėtarėve shqiptarė, si tė huaj qė ishin se do t“i linin tė lirė tė largoheshin sė bashku me armėt e tyre, mjaft qė ata tė dorėzonin kėshtjellat. Njėkohėsisht, kėtij gjenerali i mori edhe medaljonin prej gurėsh tė ēmuar qė vetė ja kishte dhėnė.

Tartaria neolithic clay token decyphering

My name is Eugen Rau ; don't know how happened, butI got involved in the work of decyphering one of those token (the round one ).I am advancing very well but I need to discuss upon my results with some specialists in order to find the only one original variant of the text (in fact only the writer knew what he wrote exactly). eugen_rau@hotmail.com

I have no idea what that means? Dori | Talk 14:28, Feb 4, 2005 (UTC)

This is adressed to Dori, wich I suppose to be albanian ,and to other albanians. My decyphering of those old neolithic tablet/token conducted me for the very begining to words wich can be found in those languages:euskara, albanian, lituanian, slavian. As my searches advanced,I was supposing that in those very remote times (5.000 BC) in Vinca area was used a language from wich derrived:tracian, dacian, albanian and possible other languages, but I am not sure. The language is akin to albanian. That's mean that the albanian language is in the most linguistic vicinity,or from all languages is approaching most.Maybe from this language, albanian survived so many years cause of peculiar conditions (mountains, remote places),as euskara survived. These are in my opinion the relics of a common language spoken in paleolitic times from Balcan to Iberia. The text is begining from the folowing letters : KD S PR O L HR(or RH) and the group of Q,Z,G(in fact the last-one could be:C,G,orL).This is why I am giving you the letters, cause as you are native albanians,or speakers, you can comment my proposed text: ET KUDO SI PARA(old PARO) LO HER KU ZGAU. Excuse-me for the translation: AND WHERE YOU ARE..FROM NOW_ON YOU SLEEP..TIME WHEN GO PITT(ing). This token was found in the village named Tartaria,inRomania in 1961.Beside this token was found an dissasembled ,cremated human skeleton, presumed of a female,55 y.o.You are realising is the most possible serious matter. So,I am asking you for help, sustaining, make this known, and fight, along with me.Make this kwown to media and to Decius for I have a great respect too.
