USS Kidd (DDG-100) is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the United States Navy. The vessel was named after Rear Admiral Isaac C. Kidd, who was on board Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor, and was the first flag officer to die in World War II.
She was christened on 22 January 2005. Regina Kidd Wolbarsht and Mary Corrinne Kidd Plumer will serve as sponsors of the ship named for their grandfather. Commander Richard E. Thomas of Westwood, N.J., will command Kidd.
