I would challenge the (no longer practised) list. At least the cult of Mithras is still going, unbroken. And I wouldn't be suprised if there weren't at the very least revivals of the Isis-cult. -- Cimon Avaro on a pogo-stick 14:54 24 Jul 2003 (UTC)
I would not challenge the (no longer practised) list regarding the late-classical cults of Mithras and Isis. The problem is, while cults existing today might claim to be continuations of the ancient cults and to present their ancient mysteries, on the strength of the evidence available to us, these claims are not expecially plausible. I think it would be easier to substantiate the genuine resucitation of a cult that was not a mystery religion.

Religion Abroad
I feel that religion and the real truth of mankind has become so scattered throughout the eons that it is hard to tell just which one is correct. All we can do is increase our knowledge and hope that, that knowledge will go with us when we pass. I truely beleive that life is a circle and you go between planes of existance and being a star. The heavens is a vast place, one we have yet to even scratch the surface of. But I truly beleive the hardest trip of all to take in ones existance is the one inside. To become truely aware of your presence and existance and its interactions inbetween. It is then we learn to see this "Mystery Religion" this paragraph discusses. It is my firm beleive life and death and God is held at a frequency of 33 hertzs. Do some research into this note, middle C, it is quite interesting. But to all who read this I say "beleive in afterlife", and beleive that the highest power simply comes down to nothing more then M16 or the Eagle Nebula, a great Hubble picture(which I think looks like Anubius) and is breeding new stars. Afterall you know stars live and die just like humans. HMMMM
