can someone verify "Sultan" as a famous ape? and if so, what kind was he?

Bonobos are a separate species from chimpanzee - so probably better to leave them in two places. Flit 15:14, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Should the famous apes page [2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Famous_apes) be merged into this one? Some animals occur there but not here. Flit 15:14, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
