On the NPOV warning: I'm not sure of anything that's specifically wrong, but the text makes some pretty strong claims and seems to have an axe to grind against Pakistan and their intelligence agency. It'd be nice if some more people with deep knowledge of the area gave the article a little more comprehensive content and verified the more extreme claims. Thanks, Rebrane 19:44, Apr 11, 2004 (UTC)
I dispute the neutrality of this article. Especially the usage of certain words like "indigenous freedom fighters". Moreover, the general feeling arises that it sees only one side of the story - that of the Pakistani side. There are allegations to the contrary, by India and also many European nations, of the rold played by ISI especially in the nurturing of terrorism in Kashmir by the ISI. It would be nice if some neutral article is posted in this regard. Thanks and Cheers. Posted by Bhuvan 23:55, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
- There is a much longer article, called Directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence which appears to have an axe to grind against the ISI. I don't know anything about the history, but by merging these two articles the P(s)OV may perhaps cancel out. Wragge 18:08, 2005 May 31 (UTC).
- I have merged the articles together, but can't vouch for accuracy or neutrality. (This information was essentially already here; I've simply combined it and Wikified it.)
