Is he still alive? If not, past tense should be used. "Bobby Short was..." Unclear whether he's still around. Moncrief 07:31, Apr 7, 2004 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. I used allmusic.com to write this -- they don't give a death date, but aren't always up-to-date. Some light googling (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=%22Bobby+Short%22+died&btnG=Search) seems to indicate he is alive, but not conclusively. Tuf-Kat 07:36, Apr 7, 2004 (UTC)
- Looks like he's probably alive then. Something about the tense of the much of the article made it unclear if he was still alive, but I may be overthinking it. Thanks. Moncrief 07:38, Apr 7, 2004 (UTC)
