Foot vs Feet
Don't mix up the Blackfoot with the Blackfeet. The tribe, which is described here is called Blackfoot. The Blackfeet-Indians are a subtribe of the Lakota. See also [[1] (http://members.aol.com/bbbenge/page6.html)] 217.162.153.19 07:12, 16 Nov 2003 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out. I'll see if I can weed out the mess. - Hephaestos 07:15, 16 Nov 2003 (UTC)
- That's not really correct. There are two tribes, which are called Blackfeet. The one described in this Article are the Algonkin (sometimes also called Blackfoot). The other one is, as mentioned above, the Lakota tribe. --Napa 11:03, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC)
The federal government has decided that the Blackfoot are officially the Blackfeet, which they also use as the plural. Hyacinth 09:24, 13 Jun 2004 (UTC)
