Talk:Barry Sanders
From Academic Kids

Barry Sanders could have been the greatest running backs that ever lived but he retired mysteriously at the peak of his career. His crazy-legs style of running was unmistakable. He was notorious for sometimes running the full width of the field to gain only a yard on a play then, on the next, suddenly breaking through a hole for a 60 yard gain.
Without a doubt, he will be in the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

not $38 million
Barry was indeed an amazing player, but no NFL player receives a $38 million signing bonus. The contract was worth around $38 million, but the signing bonus was more like $12 million.
