Talk:Atomic mass

Redirect be gone. Atomic mass alive and well :-) -Vsmith 01:14, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I am in agreement with the redirect of atomic weight, but the merge garbled things a bit - too much weight in it. Gram is a unit of mass - not weight. We need to move away from that bit of confusion. I'll wait a bit though, and see what develops :-) -Vsmith 04:44, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
The 3rd paragraph involving binding energy and fission-fusion needs work if it needs to be there. possibly refer to Avogadro's number#Connection to mass of protons and neutrons or incorporate that presentation here. -Vsmith 02:04, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Well done for changing it, I was too scared of the people disagreeing with me to go against the dissent. Will give it a read over and see if any sensible changes are available to improve. It should be noted that the pages for the specific chemical elements are probably incorrect (ie using weight) now as well and will need to be changed eventually. -Xrikcus 15:57, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
