Super Shadow

In the video game Sonic Adventure 2, Super Shadow is Shadow after he has been empowered by all seven Chaos Emeralds. In this form, his fur turns a pearly silver, though it retains the red highlights like normal.
He makes this form apparent when he and Sonic must team up to defeat the Final Hazard. Super Shadow is often called "Hyper Shadow", but this is a name given to him by fans who all thought the name sounded much 'cooler', which started the rumours of him being weaker then Sonic by having to become Hyper Shadow not Super to be equally powerful as him. After the battle with Final Hazard, Super Shadow and Super Sonic use their combined powers to use Chaos Control on the entire space colony ARK, saving the earth from the collision. However, after the Chaos Control is used, Super Shadow becomes weak and falls to earth, supposedly dying in the process.
Supposedly, considering Shadow's recent return in Sonic Heroes. However, it is not known when or if Super Shadow will be needed again.
