Renfrew, Pennsylvania, is a small village on the Connoquenessing Creek in Penn Township. It was founded by David Renfrew. He built a sawmill in Butler County in 1844 and a grist mill in Renfrew in 1868. Once a thriving little village, only the Methodist Church is still active. The General Store, the gas station have long been closed.
