Plot Summary
Helen Harris's (Kate Hudson) carefree life is turned upside down after the death of her sister whose children (Panettiere, Breslin and Breslin) she becomes responsible for. Things become very difficult, as her sister Jenny (Cusack), makes a point of telling her and her pastor Dan Parker (John Corbett) also lends support. Helen falls in love with Resse Bolton, (Criuse) a english teacher and the children start thinking that this is their father. Everything gets confusing until Helen gives them a talk.And this talk can change the children's lives. They talk a lot about things that are important to them. For example, they say how the daughter is too mature and the woman and stuff go in and like get the girl from the hotel room cuz they think shes gonna do something bad. in the end, the girl ends up with the paster and like the kids are all happy and stuff. the kids are so moody these days! they end up living on a dairy farm in new mexico where the sheep grow fur like there is no tomorrow .. good movie i suppose. my favorite character is Zoe Blum. she plays button colly so well, i thought that she was a real person.
