Location of Promontory Point, Utah

Promontory Point is a locale in southern Box Elder County, Utah, centered approximately at Template:Coor dms, with an elevation of 1285 meters (4217 feet) above sea level. [1] (http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/web_query.GetDetail?tab=Y&id=1431484) It is located on a promontory (peninsula) in the northern part of the Great Salt Lake.

Promontory Point is also the cape where this place is located, centered approximately at Template:Coor dms, with an elevation of 1309 meters (4297 feet) above sea level. [2] (http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/web_query.GetDetail?tab=Y&id=1431483) It is the location of the northern Utah weather radar.
