Orre

Orre (pronounced ore-ay and called Ōre in the Japanese version) is the region that appears in the "Story Mode" of the video game Pokémon Colosseum. According to Pokemon.com[1] (http://www.pokemon.com/) the region is based on the desert in Arizona, although the game has a post-apocalyptic feel to it as well. There are no wild Pokémon there, only tamed ones. Orre's location in reference to the other Pokémon regions are unknown.

Outskirt Stand

A stand made from an old train. The only place in Orre that sells Poké Balls and where you start off your adventure.

Phenac City

A water city which was crime-free until the invasion of Team Cipher and is where you meet your sidekick. You also obtain your starter Pokémon, Quilava, Bayleef, or Croconaw here from Cipher members Rosso, Verde, and Bluno. (It is worth noting that these characters are not considered Cipher members at this point, as you have barely any idea who Cipher is this early on in the game.) It is also the place where the only gym (known as the Pre-Gym) in Orre is. You will discover the Phenac Stadium at the town end.

Pyrite Town

A run-down shantytown and the hideout for criminals such as Mirror B. It is also the first way you enter the Under.

The Under

A secret underground town under Pyrite Town. It is a hideout for Team Cipher, where you catch Suicune, and where Venus resides. Not everyone there is evil though, The KIDS GRID operates from here as well. The UFO, which you can use to travel to secret areas, is here also. Cipher Admin Venus, a fashion model with more than a dislike of Pokémon trainers, runs the city; you must defeat her to free the city. During the battle, you can obtain a Shadow Suicune from her.

Agate Village

A village inside a lush oasis. It is where the grandparents of your sidekick live and where you obtain the Master Ball. There is also a daycare and the Celebi shrine, the only place where you can fully purify your Shadow Pokémon.

Mt. Battle

A huge volcano where you battle 100 trainers to achieve the championship title. It is where you catch Entei. If you beat Mt. Battle in Battle Mode and with your in-game team, you can obtain Ho-Oh.

Snagem Hideout

The hideout for Team Snagem that you blew up in the beginning of the game. Only accessible once you beat the game, This is where you catch the last few Shadow Pokémon (plus some of the ones you missed the first time around, including one of the starter pokemon you didn't choose to obtain at the beginning of the game)

Realgam Tower

A huge, expensive tower that is also a Team Cipher hideout and where you beat the game. It is only finished near the end of the game. You must fight all the bosses again to gain access to the top of the tower where you fight the Leader of Team Cipher.

Shadow Pokémon Lab

A large lab where Team Cipher develops Shadow Pokémon and you obtain Raikou.

you also return here after you beat the game to get a few shadow pokemon you missed the first time around, including the remaining starter pokemon

Battle Arenas

There are many battle arenas in Orre, including:

  • Orre Colosseum
  • Pyrite Colosseum
  • Realgam Colosseum
  • Phenac Colosseum
  • Mt. Battle
  • Phenac City Pre-Gym
  • Under Colosseum
  • Deep Colosseum

Orre in Pokémon XD

Pokémon XD is also set in Orre. However, the setting is different. There are more trees and grass, and we are promised that it will be more to the size of Hoenn. Shadow Pokémon have also returned.

It is currently unknown at what point in time it is set compared to Colosseum.
