Mis-teeq

Mis-Teeq are a female R&B trio from the UK. Its members are Alesha Dixon, Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington. There was originally a fourth member in the group, called Zena, but she had left in March 2001 due to disharmony with the rest of the group. They have released 2 studio albums so far.

From their debut album, "Lickin' On Both Sides" (2001) which peaked at #3 in the UK albums chart in 2001, they released 5 singles in the UK, all debuting in the top 10 the UK singles chart ("Why?" #8 in 2001, "All I Want" #2 in 2001, "One Night Stand" #5 in 2001, "B With Me" #5 in 2002 and "Roll On/This Is How We Do It" #7 in 2002). The last 4 of those singles also had success in Australia, on the Australian ARIAnet singles chart, the first 3 going top 30, and the other going top 50.

Their sophomore album, "Eye Candy" (2003) peaked at #6 in the UK, had 3 singles released from it, 2 of them going top 10 and the other going top 20 in the UK ("Scandalous" #2 in 2003, "Can't Get It Back" #8 in 2003 and "Style" #13 in 2003). It also resulted in their first top 10 single in Australia, with "Scandalous".

Recently, they have slammed Victoria Beckham, due to Telstar Records, the record label they both share, spending and focusing too much on her music career over other the artists on the label, including Craig David. Beckham didn't achieve the success they had expected, and this led to the bankruptcy and collapse of the label. However, "Scandalous" was also later released in the US in May 2004, and has made #50 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart in June, under another label Reprise.

In 2005, they are set to release their last single, "Shoo Shoo Baby".
