Mark Farmer is a British comic book artist. Part of the wave of UK creators that were an integral part of the DC Comics "new look" of the 1980s (including writers Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Peter Milligan, Alan Grant and Neil Gaiman, and artists Paul Neary, Dave Gibbons, Brian Bolland, Alan Davis and Dave McKean), Farmer is primarily known these days as an inker, although he has done some pencilling as well (for instance, collaborating with writer Len Wein on an early 1980s run on Green Lantern). Like nearly all the creators named above, Farmer got his start at the British weekly comic 2000 AD.
Farmer usually forms a team with writer/penciller Alan Davis. The pair have worked together on such titles as Marvel Comics' Excalibur, The Avengers, Fantastic Four and Uncanny X-Men, and DC's JLA.
Farmer has also inked other pencillers, such as Dale Keown and Brandon Peterson.Template:UK-comics-stub
