LinuxQuestions.org is a community driven, self help site for Linux users with a current userbase of just over 150,000 members.
The most popular section of the site are the forums, where newcomers to the Linux world (often called newbies) can ask questions and Linux experts can offer advice. Topics include security, installation, and networking.
On march 5, 2004, LinuxQuestions.org set up a wiki aimed at building the largest online Linux knowledge base. The software used for this task is MediaWiki, developed originally for the Wikipedia project.
