Jean d'Ormesson

Jean Lefèvre, comte d'Ormesson (born June 16, 1925) is a French novelist, mostly writing partially or totally autobiographic novels.

He has been a member of the Académie française since October 18, 1973 (on seat 12). He was director of the French newspaper Le Figaro from 1974 to 1979 and worked for the UNESCO.
