According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 16.6 km² (6.4 mi²). 15.5 km² (6.0 mi²) of it is land and 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 6.86% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,421 people, 707 households, and 364 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 91.9/km² (237.9/mi²). There are 999 housing units at an average density of 64.6/km² (167.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 94.58% White, 0.42% Black or African American, 0.42% Native American, 1.13% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.20% from other races, and 2.25% from two or more races. 5.70% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
