Interstate 520

Interstate 520 (Georgia State Route 415), known as the Bobby Jones Expressway, partly encircles Augusta, Georgia. It begins at Interstate 20 northwest of the city, and hooks around to the south and then east. Its current terminus is at U.S. Highway 1 in North Augusta, South Carolina. Current plans call for the freeway to end back at Interstate 20 somewhere near the current interchange with U.S. Highway 25 at Exit 5 in South Carolina. The highway becomes known as the Palmetto Parkway once it crosses east into South Carolina. I-20 runs north of the city, with Aiken, South Carolina across the Savannah River to the east side.

I-520 loses its state route designation in South Carolina; South Carolina does not co-number its interstates with state route numbers.
