After a direct bomb hit, some of the beautiful mosiacs on the ceiling of the cathedral had to be swept up from the floor and put back in place. In the back of the church there is a chapel dedicated to those American forces who fought in London during WWII. The following link leads to a view of the chapel's beautiful ceiling.[1] (http://www.webcom.com/~trw/London/images/59473907.jpg) There is also a book in this chapel that contains the names of those Americans who died fighting in London.
