The park is located in the mountain side and has a swimming pool, a camp, walking course, and a small zoo. The town is surrounded by both the sea and a mountain called Sangane-san. On the top of the mountain, there is a controversial shrine commemorating war criminals of World War II, including Hideki Tojo.
