This is an article about an album by David Sylvian. For the film by Powell & Pressburger see Gone to Earth (film).

Gone to Earth was the second full-length solo album by David Sylvian and was released in 1986. It was an ambitious two-record set, which flouted convention (and perhaps commercial wisdom) by featuring one record of vocal pop songs and one consisting entirely of atmospheric instrumentals. Guest artists included Robert Fripp and Bill Nelson.
