According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.2 km² (2.4 mi²). 6.2 km² (2.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 557 people, 275 households, and 133 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 89.6/km² (232.1/mi²). There are 295 housing units at an average density of 47.5/km² (122.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 94.61% White, 0.72% African American, 0.18% Native American, 1.80% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.90% from other races, and 1.80% from two or more races. 2.87% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 275 households out of which 20.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.3% are married couples living together, 5.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 51.6% are non-families. 38.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 2.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
