Dot Lake Village is a census-designated place located in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. As of the 2000 census, the population of the CDP is 38.

Geography

Dot Lake Village is located at 63°39'1" North, 144°2'34" West (63.650261, -144.042721)Template:GR.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.4 km² (3.6 mi²). 9.4 km² (3.6 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 38 people, 15 households, and 10 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 4.0/km² (10.5/mi²). There are 25 housing units at an average density of 2.7/km² (6.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 23.68% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 57.89% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 18.42% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 15 households out of which 53.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 33.3% are married couples living together, 13.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.7% are non-families. 26.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.53 and the average family size is 3.00.

In the CDP the population is spread out with 34.2% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 21.1% from 25 to 44, 26.3% from 45 to 64, and 10.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 32 years. For every 100 females there are 171.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 127.3 males.
