An outbound train makes a passenger exchange at the College Park-U of Md station.
The station is located in College Park, Maryland near the University of Maryland, College Park, with entrances at Calvert Road and Bowdoin Avenue, and near the intersection of Paint Branch Parkway and River Road. It adjoins the headquarters of the American Physical Society. Service began on December 11, 1993.
The University runs a complimentary bus service from the station to the Stamp Student Union on campus.
A multi-level parking garage on the east side of the station is scheduled for completion in 2005.
