Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is located in Hebron, Boone County, Kentucky (nearest important town: Florence, Kentucky) and serves Cincinnati, Ohio.

It is the second largest hub to Delta Air Lines and is the central hub of Comair and has the IATA Airport Code CVG. (The code comes from another Cincinnati suburb, Covington, Kentucky) It has daily international flights to Paris, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Nassau, Rome, Montreal, and Toronto.

On June 2, 1983, Air Canada Flight 797, which was flying on a Houston-Dallas-Toronto route, made an emergency landing at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport; about half of the passengers died of smoke and fire.
