Central School of Speech and Drama
From Academic Kids
The Central School of Speech and Drama is a United Kingdom government funded higher education college in London .
CSSD was founded in 1906 by Elsie Fogerty to offer a new form of training in speech and drama for young actors and other students. Part of the campus is at the Swiss Cottage site in North London. There is also a site at Oval in South London.
Courses are provided in acting , art , arts management , circus , costume , design , directing , drama & education , drama and movement therapy , dramaturgy , lighting , media education with English , musical theatre , performance , prop-making , puppetry , scenic art , scenic construction , scenography , set design , sound , stage management , technical theatre , voice and writing .
