Butlerville is a village of southwestern Ohio, located in south central Harlan Township, Warren County. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 231, up from 188 in 1990.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 231 people, 80 households, and 69 families residing in the village. The population density is 594.6/km² (1,563.5/mi²). There are 84 housing units at an average density of 216.2/km² (568.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.70% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.30% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 80 households out of which 42.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.8% are married couples living together, 10.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 13.8% are non-families. 13.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.89 and the average family size is 3.16.
In the village the population is spread out with 27.3% under the age of 18, 12.1% from 18 to 24, 31.6% from 25 to 44, 21.2% from 45 to 64, and 7.8% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 34 years. For every 100 females there are 110.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 104.9 males.

The village is in the Little Miami Local School District. Telephone service is provided through the Butlerville exchange and mail is delivered through the Pleasant Plain post office.
