In Greek mythology, King Asterion of Crete was the husband of Europa and stepfather of her children by Zeus: Minos, Rhadamanthus and Sarpedon. When he died, Asterion gave his kingdom to Minos, who promptly banished his brothers. His Roman name is Asterius. Some say that Asterion whas in fact the Minotaur There´s a short tale written by Jorge Luis Borges ("The House of Asterion") about the subject.it:Asterione sv:Asterion
