Asian Development Bank

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is a multilateral development finance institution dedicated to reducing poverty in Asia and the Pacific. It was founded in 1966 with 31 members states and has now grown to include 63.

The headquarters is at 6 ADB Avenue, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

The bank is led by a President, who is always from Japan and appointed by the Japanese government. The current President is Haruhiko Kuroda.
