Henri Regnault

Alexandre-Georges-Henri Regnault (Oct. 31, 1843 - Jan. 19, 1871) was a French painter of the Academic school and the son of physicist Henri Victor Regnault. He died fighting at Buzenval in the Franco-Prussian War, even though as an artist he was exempt from military service.
