Bruce Schneier
Bruce Schneier, an American cryptographer and computer security expert, is the author of several books on computer security, and founder and CTO of Counterpane Internet Security, a computer security company.
He is the (co-)designer of the Blowfish and Twofish block ciphers, and the Yarrow and Fortuna cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generators.
He writes a freely available monthly Internet newsletter on computer and other security issues, Crypto-Gram (see link below).
Schneier is frequently quoted in the press on computer and other security issues, generally pointing out the, dismally frequent, flaws in security and cryptographic techniques ranging from biometrics to the post-September 11 airline security measures.
