Brotha Lynch Hung
Brotha Lynch Hung (born
Kevin Mann) is an American
rapper and
record producer from
Sacramento,
California. In
1993, he worked with
Master P for the
24 Deep EP, followed in
1995 by his solo debut,
Season of da Siccness. After its release, he produced
I'm Bout It (Master P),
Life Insurance (Mr. Serv-On) and
Southwest Riders (E-40). Brotha Lynch Hung's second album was
Loaded, released with significant commercial success in the wake of Master P's No Limit breakthrough earlier in
1997. Despite some criticism for a perceived watered-down sound (a common criticism of most of the No Limit rappers), Brotha Lynch Hung continued releasing albums into the next millennium. His latest,
Uthanizm, was released on
November 18,
2003.
